Corporate Team Building

Whether you want to encourage positivity within your organisation by participating in a shared experience or you just want to thank your team for all their hard work, a team building activity is the perfect activity.

Team building activities are designed to encourage cooperation and stimulate original ideas in a relaxed fun sharing way away from the office. They enhance a number of key work skills:

  • Efficient leadership skills
  • Effective communication
  • Clear goal settings
  • Interpersonal skills

Workshops at Honiton Pottery are tailored to suit your requirements.

We offer half days, full days including lunch or a run of several evenings during the week.

Each workshop is led by a qualified and experienced tutor.

Groups of up to 16 people can be accommodated comfortably at The Honiton Pottery Workshop. For larger groups please enquire.

Full Day Workshop – Tile Making

10am – 1pm / 2pm – 4pm

As a team you will design and build a collaborative ceramic tile artwork for the office.

Each member of the group will make a tile that will become part of a picture, corporate logo or something important to the team. These tiles will then fit together to make up the bigger picture.

During the day each person will have the opportunity to throw a pot on the wheel – first person being instructed by the tutor – then each other person being instructed by the person before them – Chinese whispers! – efficient and effective communication is a must!

There will also be a chance to win a prize for the longest pulled handle – this will create a lot of laughter.

A finger buffet will be provided for lunch with refreshments throughout the day.

The tiles will be glazed and fired and delivered to your office when finished. A selection of pots made on the wheel will also be glazed and fired.

Cost: £140 per person
